Number Five - Not Just For Prisoners

The idea of a jumpsuit used to ultimately horrify me, trousers AND top all in one?! I just couldn't imagine being able to find one that I would like enough to try on never mind buy and wear. The styles of the typical 'jumpsuit' have developed and now they're something I couldn't imagine not being around. They're striking and are a real statement piece of clothing for the wow-factor that sometimes a pair of trousers and a top together just cannot achieve.

                                       1)                             2)                            3)
                                          4)                            5)                          6)

I originally thought that this jumpsuit had the mesh detailing until I read the description on the Oh My Love website, when I realised that it didn't I loved it even more as I thought of all the possibilities of tops & shirts to style it with. The Mesh top that it is photographed with is available here.

I love the simplicity of this jumpsuit and think it would look fantastic on a night out with some delicate jewellery and some 'barely there heels' Like these or these.

I first saw this jumper when scrolling through Missguided's Twitter, It instantly caught my eye and I went onto their site to get a closer look. I love the full sleeves and think the extremely low cut 'neck-line' is wonderful. It's very daring and very flamboyant two things I love in a piece of clothing.

I'm not usually a fan of tie dye as I feel it has been well and truly exhausted over the last couple of year, but the print of this item is lovely! I didn't know it was tie dye until I had read the description and was shocked! It looks almost camo/floral. I love the detailing in this jumpsuit/dungarees with the pockets and the clip detailing on the bib front.. and also the styling in the photographs is lovely and I would definitely wear it with a casual jumper underneath and the legs rolled up.

I really loved these dungarees as I thought they were really girly and I loved the simple tartan print in monochrome (My Favourite!) I would probably wear these dungarees for work for a real 'office chic' look. The button detailing on the straps is pretty cute too!

6) From Urban Outfitters
I'm a little unsure as to the name of this item and I think there is an error on the website currently.. It is under ''Graffiti Tapered Leg Jeans''- But evidently this is a jumpsuit and not jeans!
In the description it states: ''Sparkle & Fade Present this lightweight woven jumpsuit.'' I'm Guessing there are some clues there as to what this item should be listed as! I really like this jumpsuit and love the gathered ankle cuffs and self tie shoulder straps! There's just something about the small details!

Number Three - Three's A Crowd

Topshop have some amazing clothes in at the moment and I keep spending all of my monthly wages in a matter of days to keep my wardrobe updated with both casual and dressy pieces. I don’t blame myself though, do you?!

Rather than listing every single item I'm desperate for off their website I've decided to just pick three items from each ‘section’ so Three dress’, three tops, three jumpers, three coats, three bottoms, three shoes and three bags/accessories... So in total 21 Items.

Dresses
There are numerous dresses on the Topshop site that I am in love with so this section was really difficult to choose. I have a passion for shift dresses but also adore the 'cami slip' dresses that have made an appearance this season. Unusually for me I have opted for three floral pieces, I usually steer clear of girly prints but this dark 'moody' floral trend has me hooked!
 1) The first Dress (Left) is the - Sleeveless Crop Lace Dress
I was really unsure about this dress when I first saw it come onto the website and was really curious as to how it would look in person/on! So I ran down to my local Topshop and found out for myself. It was amazing, It fitted me so perfectly I just HAD to get it. The Back of the dress is beautiful too with a 'split' in the fabric where the zip goes down revealing the lovely black mesh insert that is underneath the green exterior fabric. There is also a Sleeved version of this dress too, which you can find here! (Personally I think the sleeveless version is much much nicer!

2) The second Dress (middle) Is the - Devore Strap Back Slip Dress
I only discovered this dress last night when I was looking through the 'New In' Section on the website. And I have fallen in love, could a dress be this perfect?! I love the slip style dress and with a low back with cross over straps too, what more could you want?! I thought this dress was so pretty & elegant and will definitely be purchasing at some point in the very near future.

3) The Third Dress (Right) Is the - Painted Embellished Slip Dress
I have been eyeing this dress up for what seems like months and am SO tempted to purchase It but don't know whether I can justify the dress enough to pay the £75.00 Price tag. I suppose all of the tasteful embellishment throughout the moody floral print is gorgeous and also the strap back detail is very on-trend but I just don't know whether it would get worn, I could always see what Santa brings me.. Then maybe I will be able to justify it a little bit more!

Tops
If I'm being honest, tops/shirts have recently been on the back burner for me and have became a little neglected in my wardrobe. I'm all about the dress & jumper combination at the moment and haven't even spared them a thought! After deciding to do a 3's post in almost every section of Topshop it has reminded me of why I used to wear them in the first place, with some really lovely items in-stock at the moment I have added a couple to my wardrobe and will be showcasing tops/shirts again this winter!

1) The First Top (Left) Is the - Floral Check Mix Match Shirt
I absolutely adore clashing or mismatched prints and also love shirts because I can wear them casually and at work. After seeing it on the website I went to Topshop and tried it on, and fell in love, The Material & fit is so amazingly comfortable that I'm going to be going to Topshop for all of my shirts in the future because I have never found one that fit me as well as this one does. I'm a size 8 and find the size 8 loose fitting and slightly oversized. I like my clothes like this but for those who like tight fitting garments I'd suggest to go a size down!
2) The Second Top (Middle) Is the - High Neck Stripe Crop Top
Considering it is starting get very cold outside I just have not been looking at crop tops recently as I couldn't bear to be out in this weather with flesh uncovered! But this cute high neck striped top is right up my street. I love the styling on the Topshop website and would probably wear it for a smart meal or to go out for casual drinks with my friends!
3) The Third Top (Right) Is the - Mix Match Print Shirt
I thought this item was similar to the first top in this section with the multiple prints all thrown into the one garment and loved it just as much. I like the idea of the three different prints but all still in basic monochrome colours. I think it creates a beautiful effect and couldn't resist buying it immediately. The fit Is the same as the 'Floral check mix match shirt' and would suggest going a size down if you're not wanting a slightly oversized shirt.

Coats
Every winter means one thing.. Christmas/Snow/festivities?! No, winter staple pieces like a warm new coat to add to the wardrobe. I think Topshop have excelled themselves this year with their coat selection and found it really really difficult to pick just three!

1) The first coat (Left) Is the - Collarless Check Wool Jacket
I love this coat so much and if I hadn't of already bought my winter coat I would have definitely purchased this.. (But there is also still time to convince myself I need another coat!) I Love the tartan/plaid/check patterns that have came into fashion and think they look better applied to a coat than anything else. Also the off-centre zip really grabs my attention and finished off the coat beautifully.

2) The Second Coat (Middle) Is the - Curly Sheepskin Biker Jacket
Need I say more?! Nope.. but at £350.00 I can't see myself being able to afford this jacket any time soon.

3) The Third Coat (Right) Is the - Teddy Fur Pea Coat
The Teddy Fur Pea Coat Is another favourite of mine because I am an avid fan of Fur (Faux of course!) and love the fact that this coat also comes in lots of different colours to give variety to buyers. I adore the white but realistically there's not a chance in hell I'd keep it clean so would probably opt for the black version.

Jumpers/Knits
Recently all my outfits have consisted of a dress teamed with a jumper, There's just something about that look that I'm a big fan of! Also chunky knitwear holds a special place in my heart! And the new craze of 'fluffy knitwear' has me captivated. I tend to go onto the Knitwear section on the Topshop website and can never quite work out whether I like something enough to purchase it, and every jumper I've ever bought has been in-store I guess you have to meet a jumper before you can take it on as your own!

1) The First Jumper (Left) Is the - Knitted Angora Cable Jumper
I absolutely love cable knit jumpers and hadn't seen a red one until looking on the Topshop site. The Idea of being able to wear a statement bright red jumper over black basic clothed really intrigues me and If I decide to purchase this item I will certainly be doing a blog post on an outfit similar to the one I just described!

2) The Second Jumper (Middle) Is the - Knitted Fluffy Crop Jumper
The Fluffy Crop jumper that Topshop brought out is one of my favourite items in my wardrobe, It is an effortless piece of clothing that can just complete an outfit. The one pictured Is the Soft Pink but there are also other colours available on the website & in-store. I already own the Black and the Mint and want to complete the collection

3) The Third Jumper (Left)  Is the - Knitted Roll Neck Jumper
I am really keen to introduce some roll neck pieces into my wardrobe and feel a knitted jumper version over a T-shirt version would be so warm and comfy. Perfect for layering and wearing with statement jewellery I will certainly be adding one of these to my wardrobe this winter. Hopefully they will introduce some different colours into the collection aswell.. I'm thinking Grey, White & Black!

Bottoms
After deciding to only pick three items for each section I knew that 'bottoms' would be particularly difficult as bottoms consists of - Trousers/shorts/leggings/skirts. I whittled my way through and managed to pick three items. Each item here I really like and hopefully will be able to buy when next pay day comes around! I managed to select one skirt, one pair of shorts and one pair of trousers! Oh the variety!

1) The First Item (Left) Is the - Black Luxe Satin Wrap Short
I love the glossy 'luxurious' material these shorts are made out of and believe they would be a valued item in almost any lady's wardrobe. As they are pretty dressy I would team them with a nice shirt or cami top for an effortless night out look. There was also a similar skirt on the Topshop website that I had a hard time deciding between. You can find the skirt here.

2) The Second Item (Middle) Are the - Puppy Tooth Drainpipe Trousers
I do not own a pair of trousers which aren't black or Jeans and I am totally ready to hand over my money for these trousers. I love the simplistic drainpipe style teamed with the classic but busy 'puppy tooth print.'

3) The  Third Item (Right) Is the - Black Fluffy Floral Pelmet Skirt
Where to start.. It's black! Every girls most flattering colour.. And It's Fluffy!  2 Really big positive factors when I was deciding whether to purchase this item or not. I also love the A-line shape and the layering effect at the bottom of the skirt!

Shoes
There are hundreds of shoes to choose from on the Topshop site at the moment, Shoes for every occasion and every personality. These three stuck out the most for me.
1) The first Pair (Left) are - NIRAMA Cut Out Mid Sandals
Not Very suitable for this cold weather but I am a girl, and I am willing to make sacrifices for a nice pair of shoes!

2) The Second Pair (Middle) Are - SHELDON Peep Toe Shoe Boots
These shoes are pretty much my idea of the perfect going out shoe! I was torn between this burgundy colour and the black colour they also have available. I think The burgundy are nicer personally though! You can find the black ones here.

3) The Third Pair (Right) Are - POLLY Premium Chelsea Boots
I love chelsea boots and I love sky scraper heels! These shoes seem the cater for my personal taste quite perfectly.

Bags/Accessories
Bags and accessories usually get overlooked amongst my wardrobe I have the mind set of I'd much rather pay £20 for a top that £20 for a necklace.. but  accessories & Bags can totally make and complete an outfit. I've gotta re-think my outlook.

1) The First Item (Left) Is the - Croc Doctors Bag
This is the item at the very top of my Christmas list! I just hope James has taken the hints I've sent his way! It is a large sturdy bag with an unusual opening & twist fasten. It caught my immediately and I fell in love with it! Which is extremely rare because I am the fussiest person in the world with bags! It is also available in black!

2) The Second Item (Middles) Is the - Chunky Curb Chain Choker
A nice bit of alliteration for a nice piece of jewellery! I love the choker necklace style and think it could make the most boring of outfits stand out.

3) The Third Item (Right) Is the - Plastic Perspex Clutch
When I saw this clutch bag I bought it immediately! Its simplistic design teamed with the unusual material it is made out of  caught my eye, I think it will look amazing teamed with a very simple dress for a night out! The colour stated on the site is 'silver' but the bag is very holographic and iridescent. Beautiful!

Number Two - Ur Not In Fashion

For one of my first features I thought what better way to do it than focussing on one of my favourite brands UNIF. I am ALWAYS lusting after their pieces but find it a little difficult to buy because of them being USA based.

The Wednesday Dress
The Wednesday dress which is the first picture is simply gorgeous, I love the contrast of mesh to velvet, and also how nicely the skirt of the dress hangs in a loose discreet ‘skater’ style. And from the name is some indication of where they got the idea for the collar from, borrowing Wednesday Addam’s trademark white collar with some delicate detailing!

Neo Boots
The Neo boots are currently my favourite shoes on the UNIF website. They’re on trend with the chunky ankle boot design. The unusual zip placement catches by eye, and I love the ‘’ribbed’’ leather effect on the front of the boot. On the description it states ‘The perfect boots to cyber in’- I disagree, the perfect boots to ‘anything’ in!

     The Hangover Sweater
I love jumpers and knitwear and UNIF always seem to nail it in this department- Edgy, stylish but still so casual. I can’t pick my favourite thing about this jumper.. I’m torn between the shredded detailing in the knit but am also fascinated by the side zips.  If I was to choose between the two colour-ways I would have to go with the Camel/Mustard colour and I would probably team it with some leather trousers to keep the edginess in the jumper relevant.

Outsider Jacket
I thought denim was going to hit it off in a much broader scale this season but hasn't seemed to take off. Especially shredded distressed denim like this ‘outsider jacket.’ I love the washed pale denim and this it really looks great with the ‘white’ loose threads from the frays. Showing off a bit of flesh even with a jacket on is something I'm in favour of too.  The Description on the UNIF site states – ‘’A PERFECTLY DESTROYED DENIM JACKET THAT LOOKS LIKE IT'S GONE TO HELL, PARTIED A BIT, THEN CRAWLED HOME’’ I couldn't agree more

Vapor Clutch
For the last item on the post I thought I would pick my favourite ‘accessory’ out of the UNIF collection. This was the ‘Vapor Clutch’ I love the fold top flap on the bag which is teamed with a zip fastening and a ‘push’ buckle closure, making it extra secure. I love the see-through Frosted clear PVC as I love the idea of being able to see what is inside the bag from the outside. I’ve seen lots of Clear PVC material clutch bags but this one has definitely been my favourite so far.

Considering the brand name UNIF stands for ‘Ur Not In Fashion’ they certainly have some very in fashion pieces, this may be my first post on UNIF but it most certainly will not be my last.

Number One - Introductions

What to write for a first blog post? I’m as unsure and new to this as anyone could be so I thought I’d just do what felt right for me and start with a little about myself rather than jumping straight into it!  I’m 20 years old and I live in a rather gloomy town called Middlesbrough, but cannot wait to escape it and move to a city. I have a full time job as a receptionist/lettings agent at a student accommodation company, not where my passions lie but anything for some money to fund my shopping addiction! I adore and have 2 cats (Tom & Velvet) and cannot wait to get more, everything about them amazes me and I fall in love with every single feline I meet!
I actively follow the latest fashion/beauty trends and have an unparalleled obsession with shopping & clothes. Rather than clogging up my Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr and Instagram with all my wants/needs and buys I thought I would create a blog to show this to people who are actually interested, and stop boring those who are not but are too polite to delete me from any social networking sites!!
And last but most certainly not least I have a wonderful boyfriend called James who I thought at least deserves a small mention!
