Number Twelve - Christmas Day

December 25th; in my opinion is worth all the hype and money put into it! I always have the BEST day, with my amazing family, friends & boyfriend, eat the best food and watch the best rubbish television! ..Whats not to like!?

This year I got some absolutely wonderful presents and really am a lucky girl! I have been well and truly spoilt and I am over the moon!

Whats Christmas without some Lush products, Body lotions and shed loads of make-up!?

Santa took note of my Christmas list and brought me :
- MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation NW15
- 4 x eyeshadow re-fils & 4 Pro Palette
- 3 x Mac lipsticks! (from left to right the colours are MAC Red, Sophisto & Craving)
- MAC liquid liner in point black

Here is a close up of my pro-paletter + chosen eyeshadows! I am totally in love with the colours I asked for and they all go together SO well.. its like they were a pre-chosen set on the site!
The colours are Beauty Marked, Blanc, Haux & Brown down.

I got this lovely OPI Nail Lacquer in I Snow You Love Me. I cant wait to try it!

Paperchase stationary is ultimately the BEST stationary.. and when I opened a lot of paperchase stuff I got so exited to use it all!! The lovely leather bound note-pad is so good quality and lovely throughout! and the phone case is so cute! The products I got are all the same 'collection' called 'Secret Garden.' I love the print and want everything from the range!

From the same 'Secret Garden' collection @ paperchase I got this AMAZING glass jewellery box, It is so lovely and the chain inside to keep the lid open it gorgeous! Can't wait to display all my jewellery in it!

Here Is the Jewellery box opened with my AMAZING Vivienne Westwood necklace inside it! I love it so much I haven't took it off since i received it and really do have the best boyfriend ever!!

Here are a couple more items from the paperchase 'Secret Garden' collection.. A cute metal pen/pencil pot for my desk and a gorgeous good quality lever arch file in the lovely pattern!

In-love with the Vans my amazing boyfriend got me! Can't wait to wear them and love the platformed sole... I don't usually like trainers with a platform but totally have an exception for these!

Amazing quality black faux fur clutch bag my best friend bought me! It is HUGE and totally perfect for all occasions not just nights out!

The second clutch/cross body bag I received was this lovely monochrome one from Topshop, It is good quality and real leather! I wasn't expecting it to be as big as it is but I was pleasantly surprised!

James bought me this daft cat camera gift, but it's actually one of my favourite presents! It is a disposable camera that already has pictures of cats & things cat related on the film so when your pictures are developed onto it there will be random cats and cat things on the photo, Cannot wait to use it!

AND last but not least I received this calendar from James, I was already happy with it as who doesn't want to have a new cute kitten to look at every month?! He said to me ''The kitten on May is SO cute!" ..I opened it to May and there on the page he had written my big surprise! 6 days in NEW YORK, back to London to the Harry Potter Studio tour, Madame Tussauds AND tickets to see Arctic Monkeys @ Finsbury Park... Ultimately gobsmacked.

I honestly could not believe it. I had a huge smile plastered on my face for the full Christmas day, and am still smiling now!! Next year is going to be  a m a z i n g!!

I got lots of clothes but didn't want to do the longest blog post in the world!! I will be making some outfit posts / a post about my Christmas clothes in the next few days!

I hope everyone else had an AMAZING Christmas and would love to see reviews of products / pictures of what everyone received!

Number Eleven - Topshop Christmas Eve sale.

After anticipating the Topshop sale for a long time now I was kind of disappointed with it, online it was impossible/rubbish and in-store there seemed to be a lot of items on the sale racks which really confused me because I thought online & in-store would correlate with the sales?! ...Anyway I battled through the hordes of people looking for last minute Christmas presents to try and find some bargains!

These Shoes were the first things I decided to buy they are the Topshop KEITH2 Loafers. RRP £50.00 reduced to £30.00 (They aren't on the website anymore but similar here.) They're my favourite thing I got from the sale and are such good quality!

The dress above is so pretty and I have been eyeing it up for a long time but the original price of £48.00 seemed a little steep for me! After seeing it alone on the shelf I'm not going to lie, I ran a little to get it before someone else and to my delight it was an 8! It is called the Autumn Floral Tea Dress but unfortunately isn't on the site anymore! In some stores in the sale for £24.00!

This top is the same 'autumn floral' print as the dress above but this is obviously a t-shirt & a creamy white colour! I love it and like the dress above wanted it when it wasn't in the sale but for some reason never bought it!

I've loved the Topshop long sleeved spot shirts for a long time and seeing that they were in the sale I just HAD to buy one! The only size left was a 6, I risked it and I'm glad I did because the shirts must run big, it fits me perfectly and I am happy!

The last of the items I bought for myself was such a bargain, I'm gutted I didn't get two! The Satin V Cami was reduced from £20.00 to £10.00 and theres loads of lovely colours! The material is luxuriously silky too!

I Love sales and have spent all boxing day looking through other online sales!.. I predict another sales post coming again in the very near future! I would also love to see what bargains everyone else has got!!!

Number Eight - wishing my life away

I've recently applied for a Topshop Card.. and I've been accepted for one. I don't know why I would make this stupid decision for myself, BUT I'm happy that I now have one.. and am now going to be buying MORE Topshop stuff than I already do.
How I celebrated this joyous occasion is by making A wish-list for what I'm wanting to buy when I make my first few order/s on the card! ...How exiting!

Okay, so I'll let you in with a secret.. I've already bought the two-tone Mom Jeans, I just couldn't wait and now they are completely sold out -So I'm totally glad I made that decision!

Apart from the Peach Tropical Scallop Shorts everything on my wish-list is pretty simple, dark patterned or a block monochrome colour.. I love the Green Check Wool Kilt Shorts and think they would make a lovely 'staple' piece in a simple winter outfit. The black Borg denim Jacket also is just so wintery.. With the sheepskin lining not just on the collar but applied to the full inside of the jacket, it makes me feel warm just looking at it!
The Moto black Joni jeans will be a replacement for my current pair, they're so worn and I NEED some new ones. I love the tight elastic fit of Joni jeans, and think they are so comfortable! - Don't be put off with the tiny appearance of your ''size'' if you ever order any because they are soooooo stretchy that it might even be advisable to go a size down!!
I've been lusting after the two pairs of shoes on my wish list for a while, but haven't yet got round to attempting to order either of them! - Acorn snake wedge boots & Matrix heavy loafers. I can't decide which are my favourites!
The Stripe tunic and the Side split throw on coat (available in White OR Black) have both earned a place top of my want list and I must have them. Especially the Side split throw on coat as it's currently on the 20% off party-wear offer.. How can I resist!?
Last but not least.. the amaaazing Croc clutch bag and the Strappy Mesh Triangle Bra.. Both of this items are simple & cute which really appeals to me! Especially with accessories/lingerie.. the more simple the better. Less is totally more in my mind when accessioning comes into the equation.

Has anyone else got a wishlist of items they're lusting after?!

Number Seven - Winter Warmness

Christmas is all about spending time with loved ones, giving & receiving gifts, cold weather & Wrapping up warm!!

Check out my mood board of some really cute accessories I think would be purrfect to wrap up warm with!

Topshop Traditional Fur Cossack Hats £22.00 - Mulberry / Blush / Grey

I'm totally in LOVE with the Cat hat & Mittens. My love for cats often helps me make an active decision of whether I actually want something or not.. If its got a cat on it, chances are I want it!

Number Six - Palm Print Two-piece

I have been lusting after all of the two-piece's that have been cropping up on online and in stores and hadn't found one that I liked enough to buy for myself... Until I seen all of the items from Topshop with the 'Palm Print' Fabric.
I loved the shirt and as soon as I saw the shorts I just knew I had to get them too!

The items are both individually so nice and then even nicer together.. Both items fit perfectly and the quality of the material is so nice. They're a lux satin and feel wonderful and silky and excellent quality, which is something I really look for in an item so it will last for more than just a few wears!

I have attached a close up picture of the material of the two items, displaying the shiny satin and the gorgeous scalloped detailing on the shorts.

I cannot wait for my next night out where I will showcase my new two-piece with some low denier tights, black sky scraper heels and a simple black clutch so as to not take any of the attention off this wonderful, colourful two-piece!

Number Five - Not Just For Prisoners

The idea of a jumpsuit used to ultimately horrify me, trousers AND top all in one?! I just couldn't imagine being able to find one that I would like enough to try on never mind buy and wear. The styles of the typical 'jumpsuit' have developed and now they're something I couldn't imagine not being around. They're striking and are a real statement piece of clothing for the wow-factor that sometimes a pair of trousers and a top together just cannot achieve.

                                       1)                             2)                            3)
                                          4)                            5)                          6)

I originally thought that this jumpsuit had the mesh detailing until I read the description on the Oh My Love website, when I realised that it didn't I loved it even more as I thought of all the possibilities of tops & shirts to style it with. The Mesh top that it is photographed with is available here.

I love the simplicity of this jumpsuit and think it would look fantastic on a night out with some delicate jewellery and some 'barely there heels' Like these or these.

I first saw this jumper when scrolling through Missguided's Twitter, It instantly caught my eye and I went onto their site to get a closer look. I love the full sleeves and think the extremely low cut 'neck-line' is wonderful. It's very daring and very flamboyant two things I love in a piece of clothing.

I'm not usually a fan of tie dye as I feel it has been well and truly exhausted over the last couple of year, but the print of this item is lovely! I didn't know it was tie dye until I had read the description and was shocked! It looks almost camo/floral. I love the detailing in this jumpsuit/dungarees with the pockets and the clip detailing on the bib front.. and also the styling in the photographs is lovely and I would definitely wear it with a casual jumper underneath and the legs rolled up.

I really loved these dungarees as I thought they were really girly and I loved the simple tartan print in monochrome (My Favourite!) I would probably wear these dungarees for work for a real 'office chic' look. The button detailing on the straps is pretty cute too!

6) From Urban Outfitters
I'm a little unsure as to the name of this item and I think there is an error on the website currently.. It is under ''Graffiti Tapered Leg Jeans''- But evidently this is a jumpsuit and not jeans!
In the description it states: ''Sparkle & Fade Present this lightweight woven jumpsuit.'' I'm Guessing there are some clues there as to what this item should be listed as! I really like this jumpsuit and love the gathered ankle cuffs and self tie shoulder straps! There's just something about the small details!

Number Three - Three's A Crowd

Topshop have some amazing clothes in at the moment and I keep spending all of my monthly wages in a matter of days to keep my wardrobe updated with both casual and dressy pieces. I don’t blame myself though, do you?!

Rather than listing every single item I'm desperate for off their website I've decided to just pick three items from each ‘section’ so Three dress’, three tops, three jumpers, three coats, three bottoms, three shoes and three bags/accessories... So in total 21 Items.

Dresses
There are numerous dresses on the Topshop site that I am in love with so this section was really difficult to choose. I have a passion for shift dresses but also adore the 'cami slip' dresses that have made an appearance this season. Unusually for me I have opted for three floral pieces, I usually steer clear of girly prints but this dark 'moody' floral trend has me hooked!
 1) The first Dress (Left) is the - Sleeveless Crop Lace Dress
I was really unsure about this dress when I first saw it come onto the website and was really curious as to how it would look in person/on! So I ran down to my local Topshop and found out for myself. It was amazing, It fitted me so perfectly I just HAD to get it. The Back of the dress is beautiful too with a 'split' in the fabric where the zip goes down revealing the lovely black mesh insert that is underneath the green exterior fabric. There is also a Sleeved version of this dress too, which you can find here! (Personally I think the sleeveless version is much much nicer!

2) The second Dress (middle) Is the - Devore Strap Back Slip Dress
I only discovered this dress last night when I was looking through the 'New In' Section on the website. And I have fallen in love, could a dress be this perfect?! I love the slip style dress and with a low back with cross over straps too, what more could you want?! I thought this dress was so pretty & elegant and will definitely be purchasing at some point in the very near future.

3) The Third Dress (Right) Is the - Painted Embellished Slip Dress
I have been eyeing this dress up for what seems like months and am SO tempted to purchase It but don't know whether I can justify the dress enough to pay the £75.00 Price tag. I suppose all of the tasteful embellishment throughout the moody floral print is gorgeous and also the strap back detail is very on-trend but I just don't know whether it would get worn, I could always see what Santa brings me.. Then maybe I will be able to justify it a little bit more!

Tops
If I'm being honest, tops/shirts have recently been on the back burner for me and have became a little neglected in my wardrobe. I'm all about the dress & jumper combination at the moment and haven't even spared them a thought! After deciding to do a 3's post in almost every section of Topshop it has reminded me of why I used to wear them in the first place, with some really lovely items in-stock at the moment I have added a couple to my wardrobe and will be showcasing tops/shirts again this winter!

1) The First Top (Left) Is the - Floral Check Mix Match Shirt
I absolutely adore clashing or mismatched prints and also love shirts because I can wear them casually and at work. After seeing it on the website I went to Topshop and tried it on, and fell in love, The Material & fit is so amazingly comfortable that I'm going to be going to Topshop for all of my shirts in the future because I have never found one that fit me as well as this one does. I'm a size 8 and find the size 8 loose fitting and slightly oversized. I like my clothes like this but for those who like tight fitting garments I'd suggest to go a size down!
2) The Second Top (Middle) Is the - High Neck Stripe Crop Top
Considering it is starting get very cold outside I just have not been looking at crop tops recently as I couldn't bear to be out in this weather with flesh uncovered! But this cute high neck striped top is right up my street. I love the styling on the Topshop website and would probably wear it for a smart meal or to go out for casual drinks with my friends!
3) The Third Top (Right) Is the - Mix Match Print Shirt
I thought this item was similar to the first top in this section with the multiple prints all thrown into the one garment and loved it just as much. I like the idea of the three different prints but all still in basic monochrome colours. I think it creates a beautiful effect and couldn't resist buying it immediately. The fit Is the same as the 'Floral check mix match shirt' and would suggest going a size down if you're not wanting a slightly oversized shirt.

Coats
Every winter means one thing.. Christmas/Snow/festivities?! No, winter staple pieces like a warm new coat to add to the wardrobe. I think Topshop have excelled themselves this year with their coat selection and found it really really difficult to pick just three!

1) The first coat (Left) Is the - Collarless Check Wool Jacket
I love this coat so much and if I hadn't of already bought my winter coat I would have definitely purchased this.. (But there is also still time to convince myself I need another coat!) I Love the tartan/plaid/check patterns that have came into fashion and think they look better applied to a coat than anything else. Also the off-centre zip really grabs my attention and finished off the coat beautifully.

2) The Second Coat (Middle) Is the - Curly Sheepskin Biker Jacket
Need I say more?! Nope.. but at £350.00 I can't see myself being able to afford this jacket any time soon.

3) The Third Coat (Right) Is the - Teddy Fur Pea Coat
The Teddy Fur Pea Coat Is another favourite of mine because I am an avid fan of Fur (Faux of course!) and love the fact that this coat also comes in lots of different colours to give variety to buyers. I adore the white but realistically there's not a chance in hell I'd keep it clean so would probably opt for the black version.

Jumpers/Knits
Recently all my outfits have consisted of a dress teamed with a jumper, There's just something about that look that I'm a big fan of! Also chunky knitwear holds a special place in my heart! And the new craze of 'fluffy knitwear' has me captivated. I tend to go onto the Knitwear section on the Topshop website and can never quite work out whether I like something enough to purchase it, and every jumper I've ever bought has been in-store I guess you have to meet a jumper before you can take it on as your own!

1) The First Jumper (Left) Is the - Knitted Angora Cable Jumper
I absolutely love cable knit jumpers and hadn't seen a red one until looking on the Topshop site. The Idea of being able to wear a statement bright red jumper over black basic clothed really intrigues me and If I decide to purchase this item I will certainly be doing a blog post on an outfit similar to the one I just described!

2) The Second Jumper (Middle) Is the - Knitted Fluffy Crop Jumper
The Fluffy Crop jumper that Topshop brought out is one of my favourite items in my wardrobe, It is an effortless piece of clothing that can just complete an outfit. The one pictured Is the Soft Pink but there are also other colours available on the website & in-store. I already own the Black and the Mint and want to complete the collection

3) The Third Jumper (Left)  Is the - Knitted Roll Neck Jumper
I am really keen to introduce some roll neck pieces into my wardrobe and feel a knitted jumper version over a T-shirt version would be so warm and comfy. Perfect for layering and wearing with statement jewellery I will certainly be adding one of these to my wardrobe this winter. Hopefully they will introduce some different colours into the collection aswell.. I'm thinking Grey, White & Black!

Bottoms
After deciding to only pick three items for each section I knew that 'bottoms' would be particularly difficult as bottoms consists of - Trousers/shorts/leggings/skirts. I whittled my way through and managed to pick three items. Each item here I really like and hopefully will be able to buy when next pay day comes around! I managed to select one skirt, one pair of shorts and one pair of trousers! Oh the variety!

1) The First Item (Left) Is the - Black Luxe Satin Wrap Short
I love the glossy 'luxurious' material these shorts are made out of and believe they would be a valued item in almost any lady's wardrobe. As they are pretty dressy I would team them with a nice shirt or cami top for an effortless night out look. There was also a similar skirt on the Topshop website that I had a hard time deciding between. You can find the skirt here.

2) The Second Item (Middle) Are the - Puppy Tooth Drainpipe Trousers
I do not own a pair of trousers which aren't black or Jeans and I am totally ready to hand over my money for these trousers. I love the simplistic drainpipe style teamed with the classic but busy 'puppy tooth print.'

3) The  Third Item (Right) Is the - Black Fluffy Floral Pelmet Skirt
Where to start.. It's black! Every girls most flattering colour.. And It's Fluffy!  2 Really big positive factors when I was deciding whether to purchase this item or not. I also love the A-line shape and the layering effect at the bottom of the skirt!

Shoes
There are hundreds of shoes to choose from on the Topshop site at the moment, Shoes for every occasion and every personality. These three stuck out the most for me.
1) The first Pair (Left) are - NIRAMA Cut Out Mid Sandals
Not Very suitable for this cold weather but I am a girl, and I am willing to make sacrifices for a nice pair of shoes!

2) The Second Pair (Middle) Are - SHELDON Peep Toe Shoe Boots
These shoes are pretty much my idea of the perfect going out shoe! I was torn between this burgundy colour and the black colour they also have available. I think The burgundy are nicer personally though! You can find the black ones here.

3) The Third Pair (Right) Are - POLLY Premium Chelsea Boots
I love chelsea boots and I love sky scraper heels! These shoes seem the cater for my personal taste quite perfectly.

Bags/Accessories
Bags and accessories usually get overlooked amongst my wardrobe I have the mind set of I'd much rather pay £20 for a top that £20 for a necklace.. but  accessories & Bags can totally make and complete an outfit. I've gotta re-think my outlook.

1) The First Item (Left) Is the - Croc Doctors Bag
This is the item at the very top of my Christmas list! I just hope James has taken the hints I've sent his way! It is a large sturdy bag with an unusual opening & twist fasten. It caught my immediately and I fell in love with it! Which is extremely rare because I am the fussiest person in the world with bags! It is also available in black!

2) The Second Item (Middles) Is the - Chunky Curb Chain Choker
A nice bit of alliteration for a nice piece of jewellery! I love the choker necklace style and think it could make the most boring of outfits stand out.

3) The Third Item (Right) Is the - Plastic Perspex Clutch
When I saw this clutch bag I bought it immediately! Its simplistic design teamed with the unusual material it is made out of  caught my eye, I think it will look amazing teamed with a very simple dress for a night out! The colour stated on the site is 'silver' but the bag is very holographic and iridescent. Beautiful!
